What have we been worked on previously?

Prompted by a challenge set by Stewardship, Ema and Alasdair spent BUILD 2018 digging into open banking APIs to explore how we might be encouraged to be more generous in how we spend and how we give. Their project experimented saving up to 10% of everything that you spend in a week, and then suggesting ministries or charities you might want to donate to.

Prayer Walk is a tool the help churches to cover their towns and cities in prayer. At BUILD 2021, a team came together around this existing project to explore implementing heat maps in the app, and to improve some of the user interactions.

At BUILD in 2019, Matt kicked off Bible Stories for Software Developers, 'a light-hearted look at the Bible for people for whom code makes sense'. Over the last two years this project has expanded to bring all the Psalms into code. There is a lot more still to be done, we're looking forward to seeing how this project continues to grow!
