Kingdom Code BUILD is back for 2019! It is our annual hackathon bringing together Christians who work in the world of tech from across Europe.
Join Christian technologists, on Friday 11 – Saturday 12 October 2019, from across the UK and beyond to share ideas and kick start projects that integrate our Christian faith and technical skill sets.
Whether you’re a developer, designer, project manager, branding/marketing expert, ideator or something else entirely, enjoy taking a weekend to meet and work with others in the Kingdom Code community who share your desire to see God glorified through technology.
At Kingdom Code we want to explore how the technical skillsets that God has given us can practically serve His church. Each year at BUILD we set a pair of challenges to give focus to what we work on during the 24 hour hackathon.
"Go and make disciples of all nations...". These are the words of Jesus to his disciples (Matt 28v19). And Paul writes to Timothy "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching..." (2 Tim 3v16). So how might we use technology to equip Christians to use Scripture in their personal evangelism?
James writes to the scattered church; pure and faultless religion is "to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." (James 1v27). The local church has a role to play in caring for the poor and vulnerable in its community- so how might we be part of resourcing that work of service?
